Man Found Unconscious In Car In Westchester Impaired By Drugs, Police Say

A 30-year-old man has been charged after police say he was found unconscious and impaired by drugs in his vehicle in Northern Westchester.

Yorktown Police say an officer observed an unconscious man in the driver seat of his running vehicle in a parking lot on Route 202 (Crompond Road) on Saturday, Sept. 21 around 7 a.m.

Further investigation revealed that the man, identified as Mitchel Golden, of Mahopac, of was driving while impaired by drugs, according to police.

Golden was arrested and transported to the Yorktown Police Department, where he was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, an unclassified misdemeanor. He was released to a responsible third party after posting his $200 cash bail and is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on Tuesday, Oct. 22.
